39 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; 10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,

John - Mysteries are hidden in GOD, that He desires to reveal through the church, to PRINCIPALITIES and POWERS in heavenly places. God uses us to show His mysteries in the heavenly!

Psalm 68:1-18
Proverbs 24:1-2

241 Do not be envious of evil men,
Nor desire to be with them;
2 For their heart devises violence,
And their lips talk of troublemaking.

John - Do not... its a choice whether or not to ENVY evil men, and if you desire to spend time with them.... WE should NOT DO IT!
