1 Kings 3:3-4:34
3:28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.
John - Notice the people of Israel saw that God had placed wisdom in Solomon to administer justice, this is how Gods gifts are they are they are able to be seen for His glory by the world.
Acts 6:1-15
6:3 Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; 4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
John -For leadership you want men of GOOD reputation and full of the Holy Spirit AND wisdom (note these were the main considerations) and the apostles devoted all their time to PRAYER and ministry of the WORD.
Psalm 126:1-6
126: 5 Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.
6 He who continually goes forth weeping,
Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
Bringing his sheaves with him.
John - Those who cry for, being moved to tears in matters pertaining to this life, are ACTUALLY sowing... and once you sowing is done, you will REAP joy.
Proverbs 16:26-27
16:26 The person who labors, labors for himself,
For his hungry mouth drives him on.
27 An ungodly man digs up evil,
And it is on his lips like a burning fire.
John - When we work we are working for ourselves, we often say it is for other but the core reason is to protect and feed ourselves first.

1 king 3:28 The people of God had respect for God's man because they saw that God was with him.Wisdom is power and the power it gives is influence.
ReplyDeleteActs 6:3 The "body" of Christ is made up of many parts and each has it's own function.Each part must flow full of power, strength and wisdom to be effective as a single unit as intended to be by God, despite it's position in the body.
