7.19.10
1 Chronicles 28-29:30
Romans 5:6-21
5 20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John - Sin reigned through death but GRACE (a total commitment of God to US) reigns through righteousness to ETERNAL life. Eternal life is Gods life , He is eternal and we can enter into that life through FAITH in Christ.
Psalm 15:1-5
15 4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But he honors those who fear the LORD;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 He who does not put out his money at usury,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
John - Vile people despise the righteous, as we walk we should ONLY swear if we will follow through NO MATTER WHAT, and we should not loan our money at UNFAIR rates of interest.
Proverbs 19:18-19
19 18 Chasten your son while there is hope,
And do not set your heart on his destruction.19 A man of great wrath will suffer punishment; For if you rescue him, you will have to do it again.
John - If you rescue certain people you will have to do it AGAIN and AGAIN... We should be sure we are doing what God wants us to do instead of trying to do what “seems” right.

Rom. 5:20 Without the microscope we would never know that germs and bacteria exist. Death and disease would be happening all around, yet the true cause would go unfound. God's law is to sin as the microscope is to these deadly enemies; it's the instrument by which we see.Grace is to sin as a "miracle cure" for a desease.Drugs are affective against destroying a disease's ability to kill and destroy by being made greater than the disease.
