Deuteronomy 26-27:26
Luke 10:38-11:13

10: ⁴⁰ But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
⁴¹ And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. ⁴² But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

John - Martha was DISTRACTED not by evil things, not by selfish things, BUT WITH MUCH SERVING... Interesting isn't it that the thing we are to do as a result can be a distraction if done in the wrong timing, or from being worried and troubled.. BUT ONE thing is needed, Be with JESUS, that's all that is needed.


Psalm 76:1-12

76:¹¹ Make vows to the LORD your God, and pay them;
Let all who are around Him bring presents to Him who ought to be feared.

John - When you make a vow to God, pay it, don't waver, don't change, pay it.

Proverbs 12:15-17

12:¹⁵ The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,
But he who heeds counsel is wise.

John - Fools think they are right all the time, wise take council from people God places in their life and realize some other people need to have input into their life.
