John - Very clear if your brother sins against you REBUKE Him! If he repents FORGIVE HIM... This is Gods plan...

Wow!!! Joshua was some kind of man of God. The fact that men of Gibeon had heard that God had told Moses to give Joshua all the land and to destroy all the inhabitants from before him, the fact that they said it was clearly known to them, is pretty impressive. I pray that when God tells me something to do that it proceeds me for the Glory of God. I see God honoring what Joshua promised to these people because his heart was right with God. Joshua was obedient to whatever God told him. The Gibeonites knew this and said they were afraid of their lives because of Joshua. News travels fast when people know that you are one not to be reckoned with because of your love of God. Look around you, do people know that you are willing to follow what God has said at all cost? or do they know that you will only do what benefits you. You are either going to shake up or pal up with the world.
ReplyDeleteI want to be a shaker, a shaker can still love! A pal is exactly that, just a pal!
Joshua 9:14 When i move apart from counsel, am i moving because i am trusting God or am i moving because i am trusting me? When we act or respond to any situation there is always some one's counsel at work in our hearts. Seeking counsel is only part of the truth, it's following that counsel that bears the fruit.Lean not unto thy own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge the Lord and he will direct thy path. When i have understanding what am i waiting on and when i don't why not get it?
ReplyDeleteLuke17:3 We should never use harsh rebuttal to correct anyone and always always forgive like we have been forgiven. That is why the scripture says "Take heed to yourselves"..
