10 11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

John - The things happened to them as an EXAMPLE... we should learn from the examples and not make the same wrong choices...

Psalm 34:1-10

34 10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

John - good thing - prosperous, happy, valuable, excellent and rich.

Proverbs 21:13

21 13 Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, Will also cry himself and not be heard.

John - Lord help us see, hear and respond to the cry of the hurting around us... you respond to us as we respond to them...
