Numbers 22:21-23:30
Luke 1:57-80
1: 66 And all those who heard them kept them in their hearts, saying, “What kind of child will this be?” And the hand of the Lord was with him.
John – How amazing the difference when the hand of the Lord is WITH a man!
Psalm 58:1-11
58: 11 So that men will say,
“Surely there is a reward for the righteous;
Surely He is God who judges in the earth.”
John – We have the assurance that THERE IS a reward, from the Lord, we don’t have to look at other people, or our circumstances for the reward, GOD is our reward and will provide us a reward… Surely HE is God and PROVIDES a reward!
Proverbs 11:12-13
11: 12 He who is devoid of wisdom despises his neighbor,
But a man of understanding holds his peace.
13 A talebearer reveals secrets,
But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.
John – A “faithful spirit” conceals a matter… Lord let us BE of a faithful spirit and hold our peace!
A faithful spirit... Trusts in the Lord and therefore does not need to be a talebearer. After all a talebearer is one that is looking for man's confirmation, not God's.

ReplyDeleteTy - I have received a command to bless ... I cannot speak negatively.
Luke 1:66 "What kind of child will this be" was a dead giveaway of the people's unknowing of the miraculous. They knew that something special was happening they just didn't know what.It was plain that the power of God was being manifested yet they wondered what does this thing mean.To the believing when the question was asked words like Godly, anointed, holy are just a few that that come to mind; hence never rely on people to tell you what you should be because they don't know apart from revelation.
ReplyDeletePsalm 58 The word that gets my attention is "SURELY". The verse doesn't say maybe or possibly or could be but it says surely which means that it's a promise and it is just as sure as God is sure. God's word is just as solid as he is.
ReplyDeleteProverbs 11 The wicked will expose yet the righetous will cover the wayward with the words of his mouth. The righteous wil expose that a man's deeds are evil by the way he lives his life; godly before man.
