Judges 8:18-9:21
Luke 23:44-24:12
24:12 But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.
John - Notice when Peter heard he arose and RAN, what a heart still... then after seeing Jesus had risen he marveled at what had happened, even after Jesus had told them many time... This is how it is in our lives we marvel at what happens even after the Lord has told us things many times..
Psalm 99:1-9
99:8 You answered them, O LORD our God;
You were to them God-Who-Forgives,
Though You took vengeance on their deeds.
John - This is our God... the God-Who-Forgives, but His forgiving was not free, it cost the most precious thing in heaven, the gift of His son... Remember Forgiveness wasnt free to God!
Proverbs 14:9-10
14:9 Fools mock at sin,
But among the upright there is favor.
John - But.... among the upright (those God has made righteous by the gift of salvation, not our behavior) there is FAVOR... this is God precious hand upon the circumstances of life.

Luke 24:12 The evidence of a risen Savior was overwhelming.Jesus words alone concerning his death and resurrection should have been proof enough.However,as Peter left the empty tomb he thought to himself, what does it all mean.
