2.2.10

Exodus 15:19-17:7

15 ²⁴ And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” ²⁵ So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

John- Moses cried out and God SHOWED him a tree, not fixed the water, showed him a tree to cast into the water. How often do we cry out to God and He shows us something instead of fixing our problem?

Matthew 22:1-33

22 ¹⁵ Then the Pharisees went and plotted how they might entangle Him in His talk. ¹⁶ And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men. ¹⁷ Tell us, therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

John – The religious leaders of the day tried to first compliment Jesus is a slight kind of way then…. Ask Him a question they could use to trap Him… Religion makes people who want to accuse and trap.. Jesus came for Relationship…

Psalm 27:1-6

Proverbs 6:20-26

6 ²³ For the commandment is a lamp,
And the law a light;
Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,

John – Gods commandment will show us the way when it is dark it is a lamp for our path, (candle) but the law is a light (Light of prosperity, like the light of the dawn!)
