Exodus 17:8-19:15
19 12 You shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch its base. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death. 13 Not a hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot with an arrow; whether man or beast, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come near the mountain.”
John – Today our ideas of faith and commitment are set on likes, friendship, convenience, but as you can see the faith God expected Moses and these people to walk in had dynamic results if it was disobeyed.
Matthew 22:34-23:12
23 11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
Psalm 27:7-14
27 14 Wait on the LORD;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;

John – Strength comes in the waiting, if I wait on the Lord and BE of GOOD courage, He will strengthen my HEART! My core, the very center of my being..
