1 Kings 15:25-17:24
1712 So she said, “As the LORD your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I amgathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”
13 And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.
John - Notice that Elijah had the woman give 1st, plant 1st, the very thing she needed and was her life sustaining hope.
Acts 10:24-48
10 45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.
John - They knew they had received the gift of the Holy Spirit when they heard them speak with tongues and MAGNIFY God..

17 10 Rebuke is more effective for a wise man
Than a hundred blows on a fool.
John - A rebuke is EFFECTIVE in the life of a wise man, and not as much, in the life of a fool!
