Phil. 4:8 Casting down every imagination and everything that exalts itself against the wisdom of God. What I allow my mind to ponder and think on affects my character and attitude. What I choose to listen to affects my character and attitude. Many are the thoughts of a man, but they are futile without Christ in them.

When our enemies fall we must realize that apart from Christ, the destructive path they had taken could have been ours. The only rejoicing I can make has to be in the fact that "Lord you kept me through your grace". I hurt when my enemies are destroyed because I have also been under the heavy hand of chastening.
