John - Jesus disarmed the power of SIN and the powers behind sin, and made a PUBLIC spectacle of them. VICTORY in PUBLIC!
Psalm 78:1-31
7821 Therefore the LORD heard this and was furious;
So a fire was kindled against Jacob,
And anger also came up against Israel,
22 Because they did not believe in God,
And did not trust in His salvation.
John - The Lords anger was aroused because the people did not believe IN GOD or trust IN His ability and availability in to provide for their needs.

Col. 2:15 Christ took the keys of death and hell by giving himself as a lamb for our sins. He broke the power of sin and destroyed the hunger of death and the grave. The enemy has been disarmed and our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but spiritual, and mighty through God, for the pulling down of strongholds.
ReplyDeletePsalm 78:21,22 The Lord slew the first born of the Egyptians and drowned a whole army in the sea to deliver Israel, yet he still did not believe nor did he trust.To show just how hard hearted and unbelieving they were, the Israelites made demands on God instead of building altars to thank and worship him.
