6.12.10
1 Kings 9-10:29
Acts 8:14-40
8:26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.
John - Note how specific what the Lord to Philip to do! Is He still the same yesterday, today, and forever... then He still can be specific with us!
Psalm 130:1-8
Proverbs 17:2-3
17:2 A wise servant will rule over a son who causes shame,
And will share an inheritance among the brothers.
3 The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold,
But the LORD tests the hearts.
John - A wise servant will rule in place of and over a SON who does not obey, causing shame... we should be wise, it can make a servant a ruler!

Acts 8:26 Why would God send his messenger from a multitude to the desert? The will of God has nothing to do with mere places, but it has everything to do with purpose. It wasn't just the destination that was purposed, but the journey also.
ReplyDeleteProv. 17:3 Heat purifies when adjusted to just the right temperature.God allows the "heat" of circumstance to test us that it may prove us, and when we endure we shall be as pure gold.
