6 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

John - We are to no become unproductive, but copy other who through faith and patience have possessed the promises of God in their lives.

Proverbs 27:1-2

271 Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.

John - We are human and only have and idea of what is to come, the Lord know our pass and future and He alone can boast about tomorrow.
