215For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
John - We can through consistent faith and obedience, put the words of the prople who speak foolishly abot us to rest. By living in freedom but not abusing it and knowing we are free but still choosing to be a servant to God!
Psalm 119:49-64
Proverbs 28:12-13
28 13 He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
John - God blesses us and covers our sins with mercy, as we obey and confess.
