Genesis 42:18-43:34
4228 So he said to his brothers, “My money has been restored, and there it is, in my sack!” Then their hearts failed them and they were afraid, saying to one another, “What is this that God has done to us?”
John – Notice who they thought cause the trouble, if you disobey God then you hold Him responsible for what comes your way, you know you deserve something to happen. God is to blame even when our decisions cause and event?
4323 But he said, “Peace be with you, do not be afraid. Your God and the God of your father has given you treasure in your sacks; I had your money.” Then he brought Simeon out to them.
Matthew 13:47-14:12
1354 When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? 55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? 56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” 57 So they were offended at Him.
John – When you operate in Gods might wisdom and works, people of the world will be OFFENDED!
Psalm 18:16-36
18 30 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
John – The WORD IS PROVEN! What a fact, we live so often between the FACTUAL and the ACTUAL and feel like God has to prove His words, this tells us IT IS PROVEN, past tense. God is a shield TO ALL WHO TRUST IN HIM!
Proverbs 4:7-10
47 Wisdom is the principal thing;
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she will promote you;
John – Exalt wisdom and YOU will be promoted!
