7 4 Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.

John - God uses marriage as the metaphor to show our new relationship to Christ and no longer to the law (rules and regulations without a relationship)

Psalm 17:1-15
Proverbs 19:22-23

23 The fear of the LORD leads to life,
And he who has it will abide in satisfaction;
He will not be visited with evil.


John - What more does anyone want than to “abide in satisfaction” we are all looking to find satisfaction and the Lord offers it through fear (reverence, respecting God)
