CCI One Year Bible Reading

9.3.10

Ecclesiastes 4-6:12

519 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.

John - God keeps him busy ( to be occupied, be busied with
2) to afflict, oppress, humble, be afflicted, be bowed down) .... with the joy of his heart, God has a plan to use our life to bring glory to His name!

2 Corinthians 6:14-7:7

614 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

John - This is describing the relationship we should have with non-believers... what do light and dark have in common or righteousness and lawlessness..none they are opposites.

Psalm 47:1-9
Proverbs 22:16

2216 He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, And he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.

John - Anyone who oppresses (to oppress, wrong, extort) to increase HIS wealth or give to the RICH who do not need it will surely come to poverty (need, lack)
