1126 in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— 28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches.
John - Interesting in all the difficult situations Paul has been put in, this list of this He went through that is difficult, the last item “my deep concern for all the churches.” Paul thought about those in Christ he helped raise up daily.

If you are a man given to appetite.
3 Do not desire his delicacies,
For they are deceptive food.
John - “man given to appetite” a man who possesses a desire to sustain his life by feeding with food, drink, ect his soul.
