1219 Again, do you think that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ. But we do all things, beloved, for your edification.

John - Leadership is for edification (building up) of the church (people) for the work of the ministry (spreading of the good news of Jesus)

Psalm 56:1-13

5613 For You have delivered my soul from death.
Have You not kept my feet from falling,
That I may walk before God
In the light of the living?

John - God YOU keep your children’s feet from falling!

Proverbs 23:6-8

236 Do not eat the bread of a miser,
Nor desire his delicacies;
7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

“ Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

John - miser (evil ethically in the fountain of his being) Because what you are in you MIND and HEART you are in actuality.
