Ecclesiastes 7-9:18

714 In the day of prosperity be joyful,
But in the day of adversity consider:
Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other,
So that man can find out nothing that will come after him.

John - Be joyful when you are experiencing prosperity but when you are experiencing adversity....CONSIDER.... the Lord plan, His goodness, His love for you, and His commitment to bringing about glory through your life!

2 Corinthians 7:8-16

7 10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

John - Godly sorrow produces (has the fruit of) repentance... leading to salvation. The worlds sorrow produces death... Two sorrows, two difference results!

Psalm 48:1-14
Proverbs 22:17-19

2217 Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;
18 For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips,
19 So that your trust may be in the LORD;
I have instructed you today, even you.

John - It is a pleasant thing if you KEEP wise words in you and fix your lips (WORDS) upon those wise words.
