22:⁴⁰ When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

John - PRAY that you may not enter into temptation... this is the way to battle IT, pray that you will not event ENTER temptation...

Psalm 94:1-23

94:¹¹ The LORD knows the thoughts of man,
That they are futile.

John - God knows our thoughts... and if they are not aligned with His thoughts.. they are FUTILE.

Proverbs 14:3-4

14:³ In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride,
But the lips of the wise will preserve them.
⁴ Where no oxen are, the trough is clean;
But much increase comes by the strength of an ox.

John - The fools home had a ROD like the (branch in your eye when you focus on the splinter in your brothers eye) and it is PRIDE, but the LIPS (the place of you words) will preserve the wise..
