Judges 9:22-10:18
Luke 24:13-53
24:32 And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
John - This is something I experience when someone is saying the very words of God, my heart seems to burn within me with Gods fire...
Psalm 100:1-5
100: 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the LORD is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.
John - If you are looking for something to praise Him about and bless His name... THINK of his GOODNESS, MERCY and His Enduring truth!!
Proverbs 14:11-12
14:11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown,
But the tent of the upright will flourish.
12 There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.
John - The TENT of the upright flourishes and the HOUSE of the wicked is overthrown.. Give me the TENT that flourishes! Lord help us to walk in you WAY not the one that SEEMS right to us... One is death, one is life!

Luke 24:32 The evidence of the presence of God,"Did not our hearts burn"... It's not just what He says or how he says it, but it is the power and authority he speaks in that makes the difference.
ReplyDeletePsalm 100:4 The gateway into His precense is thanksgiving and the portal of life is found in my praise.
ReplyDeleteProv. 14:11 A dump truck will spill gravel if it's not balanced just right, but a wheel barrow works just as well if you're going to loose half your load before you get to your destination, the only difference is time. The wicked want it fast and in a hurry while getting the largest they can hold to. Yet a righteous man takes his time and builds for his future and he considers his ways and consorts with the Lord as he plans.
