1 Samuel 24-25:44
John 10:22-42
10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
John - My sheep FOLLOW ME, we see here that Jesus's sheep 1st hear Him and 2nd the follow Him, not lead Him or push Him, but follow Him... This is the basics of discipleship Hear, Follow.
Psalm 116:1-19
Proverbs 15:20-21
15: 21 Folly is joy to him who is destitute of discernment,
But a man of understanding walks uprightly.
John - Folly is something that makes the person without discernment happy.. How much of the this life do we see through discernment?

Good question! I believe that most of us depend on our own wisdom and discernment. We have done that for so long that when the Holy Spirit shows us discernment, we act all confused! One thing that I know, the discernment that I receive from the Holy Spirit never will make perfect sense to people, but it always does to my Father. I take the time to actually pause( selah ) and listen, and think to myself,"Does this line up with character of Christ?", if it is opposite of the His nature, then I assure you that it is not His discernment, it is your own desires! Today, slow down long enough to actually think it through, count the costs so to speak. Every decision has one! Some cost less than others and some can be priceless! Be Blessed!!
