John - Jesus chose US, what a beautiful picture, HE CHOSE YOU! and appointed, destined you and I to bear fruit!
Psalm 119:49-64
Proverbs 16:1-31 The preparations of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
But the LORD weighs the spirits.
3 Commit your works to the LORD,
And your thoughts will be established.
John - the preparations of the heart belong to man... but the answer of the tongue (our words) flow from our heart, we can prepare but God reveals our heart when we speak...
