John - Paul even when he was being mistreated filter all his decision through the WORD of God.

John - Pride causes us to answer when we dont even full know the matter, the chances of this are greater when we know someone better.

Acts 23:5 Undoubtedly, the things that "mark" a high priest were not visible for Paul to recognize him as being one.The outer garments would have certainly been a dead give-away.As born again believers in Christ, we too are called priest of God, and it is the inner that marks us and not the outer.
