Numbers 19-20:29
Luke 1:1-25
1: 15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. 16 And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. 17 He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
John – Even before he was born God FILLED him with the Holy Spirit! WOW! Shows you when God thinks life begins…
Psalm 56:1-13
56: 5 All day they twist my words;
All their thoughts are against me for evil.
John – Enemies of righteousness, WILL twist our words!
Proverbs 11:8
11: 8 The righteous is delivered from trouble,
And it comes to the wicked instead.
John – The righteous escapes trouble, the wicked get it, I think I like the righteous outcome better!
Lk 1:18-20 : Gabriel (the angel) told Zacharias he would have a child. Zacharias said "How shall I know this? For I am an old man and my wife is well advanced in years." And Gabriel told him he would be mute because "you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time". It is amazing - God is not worried about timing. We look at things so physically to determine what God can do. God said, Time does not restrain me. Your wife will have a child because the timing is now regardless of how old she is.
ReplyDeleteLuke 1:46-56 WHat Mary spoke about her experience of having the Holy Spirit impregnate her, This is just like what I felt getting born again. The realization that something outside of your own strength and outside of what you have ever known, just changed me forever! How powerful.
ReplyDeletePsalm 63
ReplyDelete1 O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
soooooo much to say in just these few short verses...I want to bless the Lord while i live and while i die...it matters now how i bless Him...i WILL lift up my hands in Your name, for Your glory...i don't know if i have ever longed for things like i really do long to see God. What a Great thing that He can be found...
6 When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches.
oouuuuuu weeeeeeee....now that is good...so when i can't sleep, i will praise Him and think about the things He is revealing to me? YES!!!
7 Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
8 My soul follows close behind You;
Your right hand upholds me.
following close behind the King makes the world of difference....inspiration, strength to keep moving on, power to stand....
11 But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.
this is when the david comes out in me...i like that God defends me and He is the One to stop the lies that go about attempting to destroy the child of God...He defends His own!!!
