Numbers 11:24-13:33
12: 2 So they said, “Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the LORD heard it. 3 (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
John – When they questioned Moses authority, God heard them. We can be assured God hears the talk of men.
Mark 14:22-52
14: 35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
John – Seeing Jesus in this moment we KNOW we have a High Priest who knows out pain and obeyed the father completely!
Psalm 52:1-9
52: 9 I will praise You forever,
Because You have done it;
And in the presence of Your saints
I will wait on Your name, for it is good.
John – name – (reputation, fame, glory) in Gods name is the accurate description of His nature, when shows what is going to be His behavior.
Proverbs 11:1-3
11: 2 When pride comes, then comes shame;
But with the humble is wisdom.
3 The integrity of the upright will guide them,
But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.
John – 1st comes pride, then comes SHAME…. Always this is the progression.
