12 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken.”
John – This is comfort to those who believe, that though they die, they shall live forever, because our God is the GOD of the LIVING!
12 37 Therefore David himself calls Him ‘Lord’; how is He then his Son?”
And the common people heard Him gladly.
John – Interesting the common people heard Him gladly, where the educated, upper class would argue and deny Him…
Psalm 48:1-14
48 14 For this is God,
Our God forever and ever;
He will be our guide
Even to death.
John – Jesus is not a Travel Agent sending us where He has not been, He is our Guide to go with us and insure a safe arrival!
Proverbs 10:26
26 As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes,
So is the lazy man to those who send him.
John – A Lazy man is an irritation to those who send him, it is almost impossible to think of anything else when you have vinegar in your mouth or smoke in you eyes..
