523 And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.
John - “the God who holds your breath in His hands and owns all your ways...”, this is a powerful description of our GOD! Think of it every breathe HE holds, and He OWNS your ways.
2 Peter 2:1-22
221 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
John - It is better to never have know the truth, thank to know it and turn away from it afterwards. You are accountable for what you know.

2820 A faithful man will abound with blessings,
But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.
John - faithful (stability in fulfilling promises) will abound in blessings (prosperity, extremely fortune and happy) … but... he who hastens (press, urge oneself, withdraw for) the purpose to be rich (to put together, build up for ONESELF) will not go unpunished (exempt from obligation and innocent)

Ezekiel 42-43:27
James 5:1-20
517 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
John - Elijah was like us but when he prayed it would not rain... for 3 ½ years it did not rain. That is an example of the power of prayer, the power we have when we pray and believe!
Psalm 119:1-16

John - By hiding Gods word in our hearts it anchors us to the truth and helps us NOT WANDER from His commandments!
Proverbs 28:6-7
28 7 Whoever keeps the law is a discerning son, But a companion of gluttons shames his father.
John - We can bring shame to our father if we spend time with people who do not have restraint! (gluttons - to be worthless, be vile, be insignificant, squander)

2 Corinthians 9:1-15
96 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
John - This principle is so easily seen in natural if you do not plan many seed in a field, then we know to expect a small harvest. If you plan many see in a field you know to expect a large harvest, so give as you would plant expecting and with purpose.
